Denpasar City

Denpasar City is the capital city and center of economics in Bali, Indonesia. This city is the meeting place between Balinese traditional and Western culture. There is a little town in Denpasar called Badung, since 1906 once the war bellows. Many traders from the Arab and China came here to trade. Denpasar means New Island markets, and in the south part lies Ngurah Rai international airport.

The city was originally the center of Badung and eventually became a center of administration. Starting from 1958, Denpasar serves as the center of the Bali province administration. It makes central government for Level II and Level I Badung experience significant growth, in physical, economic, social, and cultural. Physically Denpasar and the surrounding area have been developed and affected by many people, the characteristics show and urban properties. Denpasar is a government center, commerce, education, industry, and also tourism spot. It consists of 3 districts: South Denpasar, East Denpasar, and West Denpasar.

The different sectors handle by Government's Administrative status as a city from the development progress. Therefore, it is time to set up the city government to have any authority to regulate and manage the autonomy of urban areas. So, the city's problem is handled more quickly, precisely by the urban services of the communities.
