Ratapan Angin Viewpoint

Located on the Dieng Plateau, not far from Telaga Warna and Telaga Pengilon, Ratapan Angin Viewpoint is one of the best spots to enjoy the stunning panoramic beauty of Dieng. This destination offers an iconic view combining two beautiful lakes, green hills, and the mist that often shrouds the area.

It is named "Ratapan Angin" because the wind blowing through the crevices of the large rocks often produces a sound that sounds like crying or wailing, adding a mystical and serene feel to the atmosphere. The giant andesite rocks that characterize this spot create a perfect natural platform from which to gaze at the beauty below.

From the top of the Viewpoint, visitors are treated to an unforgettable view. On one side, Telaga Warna stretches out with its gradations of green, blue, or yellow, changing according to its sulfur content. On the other side, Telaga Pengilon is crystal clear and serene, acting as a natural mirror, reflecting the sky and surrounding hills. The contrast between these two lakes is a truly stunning sight.

Access to the Ratapan Angin Viewpoint is relatively easy, with a steep path. While it requires some effort, the views at the top are truly worth it. This spot is a haven for photographers and anyone looking to relax and enjoy the natural wonders of Dieng from above. Visiting Batu Pandang is the perfect way to end your exploration of the Telaga Warna and Telaga Pengilon areas.
