Mount Andong is one of the mountains located between Ngablak and Tlogorjo villages, Grabag, Magelang Regency, Central Java. Etymologically, Mount Andong has active volcanic magma activity and is a type of shield mountain in the Magelang region. Mount Andong is quite safe for climbing by all groups and with a height of 1,726 meters above sea level and offers a unique mountain climbing sensation. One of the most frequently passed routes that is not too steep with a short travel time, and is safe for all climbers, especially beginners. When you reach the top, Mount Andong offers beautiful and enchanting views.

Mount Andong is indeed exotic, it has four peaks that are lined up and stretch from west to east. When compared to other mountains, they usually only have 1 or 2 peaks. The four peaks of Mount Andong are Puncak Makam, Jiwa, Andong, and Alap-alap, and with beautiful 360 degree views. The highest peak of Mount Andong is Puncak Andong, and Puncak Jiwa is the location of the camping ground for resting, or setting up a tent waiting for the sunrise. The red line of the horizon, the sea of ​​clouds between the valley and the surrounding mountain ranges seem to be a beautiful painting and it would be a shame to miss it.
