Ubud is a peaceful village, and a nice place lies in Gianyar, Bali. It is very famous among foreign tourists because of its location between fields and forest, the edge of an abyss, and mountains. The scenery is beautiful, natural, and fresh air surrounds it.

Ubud is very well known as the center of arts and culture that developed very advanced. The Ubud life community can not live separated from the art subject. Ubud is very much popular with Western tourists at the beginning of 1930. The German painter Bruno Walter Spies, and the Dutch painter; Rudolf Bonnet settled in Ubud by that time. They were aided by Gede Agung Sukawati of Puri Agung Ubud. Their work's results show at the Painting Museum of Puri, Ubud, Bali.
